I have just downloaded and installed Netbeans 6.5. I did not install the
Glassfish and Tomcat server that came with it.

After installation, i would like to add my existing tomcat server into the
server list. However when clicking the Add Server, there is no response from
the program. Am i missing any plugins?

try Tools -> Plugins and you're going to find tomcat in Available
Plugins as possible to install or in Installed Plugins as inactive, so
activate/install and it should work then. If this doesn't help then come
back with this issue, please.

Thanks a lot.

Under Tools -> Plugins, i saw the Tomcat plugin. It is shown as active. I
have tried uninstalling and installing the plugin, setting to inactive to
active or vice versa. However it still doesn't allow me to add any servers.

Hi,

I'm having the exact same issue. I have tried to inactivate/activate the
plugin and uninstall/install it but still nothing. Recently I uninstalled a
Tomcat6 server which was used as deployment server for one of my projects. I
uninstalled it (for other reasons) and installed Tomcat5 instead. This is my
reason for trying to add a new server.
