Does MAPI support such a scenario ?
Category: MAPI
Hi,
I have a windows service which uses MAPI to connect and log on Exchange Server as administrative user and then having administrative prileges performs sycnhronization between mailboxes from the Exchange server and our DB. It works perfecly if the service and the Exchange are located in the same domain or in two separate domains but there is bidirectional trust estabilished between domains.
Question: does mapi support support a situation when there is no trust between domains (users from domain A are not known in domain B) ? - Is there any method that allows to specify administrative user mail address, his password and open mapi session with a server which is known only by its IP address ??
Thanks in advance
\Tomek
