PR_PROFILE_CONNECT_FLAGS and CONNECT_IGNORE_NO_PF
Category: MAPI
Hi All,
I'm either stuck or confused :)
I have a situation where I generate temporary profiles to do some work. The
machine has the MAPI/CDO download 1.2 OR Outlook 2007.
Based off of user settings I may or may not set up RPC encryption (which
works just fine) or the need to define CONNECT_IGNORE_NO_PF in the profile
connect flags, which doesn't work so well, at least
not yet.
First off, let me say that I'm NOT going against a 2007 server with no
public folders, it does in fact have them. I also don't currently have a
2007 EX server set up that does not have PF enabled.
If I try and set this flag (or it in with the value already in
CONNECT_IGNORE_NO_PF as I saw in an online example) I get the exchange logon
dialog to show up (not a good sign), and if I then click OK I get the
exception:
Error in IMAPISession::OpenMsgStore: MAPI_E_UNCONFIGURED
Error: Your profile is not configured.
Component: Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store
So, other than changing the connect flag I'm not doing much else. Anyone
have an idea of what I might be missing?
Best regards,
Dan
