lpstat with no args on Solaris 10, java print service API
This is on Solaris 10 on sparc, U7. I have one printer set up
from lpadmin. It prints OK from lp command.
A plain lpstat command with no args does not show the print queue.
Using -a, -v, or -t does show the printer. lpstat with no args just
brings me back to the shell prompt.
On Solaris 9 systems, lpstat with no args does produce a list of printers.
I don't know what
the difference could be. I see no difference in the man
pages on lpstat between 9 and 10 regarding lpstat with no args.
I'm interested in having lpstat work with no args
to support printing from a java application.

Maybe I don't need lpstat working like that to support java printing,
but this is all I have to go on at this point.
